Position Summary
Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Support Specialist supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Electronic Systems (AFLCMC/HB). This office is responsible for the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of more than 130 programs within the PEO Electronic Systems portfolio for the United States Air Force and allied partners.
This is a full time position located at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska.
Responsibilities
In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.
Duties to include but not limited to:
Keep leadership informed of mission-relevant issues
Track progress on tasks and initiatives
Prepare background and information for program events
Draft documents for leadership review and signature
Disseminate program policy and guidance
Coordinate, document, and support meetings and conferences, both physical and virtual
Maintain meeting documentation, including attendance logs, minutes, and action items
Manage scheduling and support for video/online conferencing
Prepare correspondence, reports, and briefings in accordance with policies and templates
Maintain calendars and conference room schedules
Answer phones, forward messages, and respond to routine queries
Assist with tracking and analyzing action items and suspense responses
Recommend improvements to administrative and office management processes
Support program file management
Assist in preparing agendas and reports for staff meetings
Support organizational workflow
Assist with travel planning and execution via the Defense Travel System (DTS)
Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen:
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD
Years’ experience: Seven years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, five of which must be in the DoD
