Position Summary
Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Brand Manager supporting corporate marketing. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this position is responsible for many aspects of marketing and brand management, including market research, content marketing, digital marketing, social media marketing, and collateral design. This is a full time position located in Huntsville, Alabama.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Coordinate corporate-level company identity/branding and communicate it through print and digital collateral
- Coordinate development of corporate marketing materials, brochures, presentations, and corporate website content, including content and design (logo, presentations, templates, signage, etc.)
- Collaborate with members of Operations, Strategic Engagement, Growth and Technical Center to connect and engage with field-office technical capability, specific collateral development, event preparation, advertising, and sponsorship events
- Coordinate social media announcements, events, holidays and special projects
- Coordinate development of Spring and Fall newsletters.
- Conduct market research to keep up with customer trends and predict future trends
- Monitor industry marketing trends and competitive companies in the marketplace
- Work with Marketing Manager to develop marketing strategies and manage campaigns
- Work with Marketing Manager to analyze/report on the success of marketing campaigns
- Support corporate branding, social media strategy, and updates to the corporate website
- Support communication to employees (ALCON content and design, benefits website, open enrollment messaging and tools, newsletter, etc.)
- Support and track corporate sponsorships at conferences and events
- Analyze and maintain corporate memberships, employee rosters, events and benefits
- Collaborate with graphics designer for both print and electronic communications
Qualifications
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Minimum Required Qualifications
Clearance: None
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline
Years of Experience: At least three years of experience in marketing, branding, or related field
Technical Skills
- Experience with Adobe Creative suite tools, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
- Knowledge of production tools and methodology, and a strong technical aptitude to quickly learn new software and hardware
Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent people skills; able to work with internal and external teams of varying sizes, technical abilities, and levels of authority
- Thorough, detail-oriented, and organized with the ability to prioritize and not miss deadlines
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Additional Information
Location: Huntsville, AL
Travel: up to 15%
Hybrid role and wqork hours may fluctuate dependent on proposal schedule; support may be required during non-standard hours (evenings and weekends)

Please note: Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
