Position Summary
Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a System Cybersecurity professional to join the team. This is a full-time opportunity at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs, CO. In this role you will be supporting the Strategic Warning and Space Surveillance Directorate which consists of the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization (PARCS) Program Office Division. Their mission is to maintain and sustain the PARCS radar through Life Cycle Logistics, Program Protection, System Engineering and Program Management required for the operational readiness of the radar.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Minimum Required Qualifications
Clearance: Must have minimum Active Secret Clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
Certifications: Security certification
Education: High School Diploma
Years of Experience: 9 years of relevant expereince, OR;
Clearance: Active Top Secret
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Years of experience: 5 years of relevant experience
Certifications: CISSP or equivalent
Additional Information
Location: Peterson Space Force Base- Colorado Springs, CO
Travel: 10% or less
Remote, Onsite, or Hybrid: Hybrid at the discretion of the Government customer.

Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Supporting the full functionality of the entire PIL System.
- Understanding and analyzing IT specifications to assess security risks to ensure devices comply with requirements.
- Understand, design, and implement safety measures, and data recovery plans that pertain to the system.
- Installing, configuring, and upgrading system software to comply with system security programs and applications.
- Inspect mission system for vulnerable points of access on a frequent basis, and for monitoring mission systems to identify baseline system vulnerabilities and detect system threats such as system breaches, malware threats etc.
- Utilize DoDI 8531.01 Vulnerability Management guidelines and conduct system scans to include but not limited to Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Secure Technical Implementation Guidance (STIG) Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) document results and initiate corrective actions to manage DOD cyber security capabilities.

Years of Experience: 9 years of relevant expereince, OR;
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant expereince
- Experienced with Cisco router and switches
- Must have working understanding of Communications Security (COMSEC), familiar with a classified environment.
- Must be able to learn quickly and independently and be a team player.

Education: Bachelor's Degree
Years of experience: 5 years of relevant experience
Certifications: CISSP or equivalent
