Your Purpose
The IT Security Jr. Lead is responsible for assisting the Information Security Manager with enhancing the existing Information Security Program effectively; designed to protect member information's confidentially, security, and integrity.
What You'll Do
To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily under direct supervision:
- Analyze data from threat and vulnerability feeds and use the data. Configure and monitor a variety of security devices and tools, including but not limited to Anti-Virus endpoint, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, SIEM, DLP, NAC, Spam filters, Web filters, Patch Management, and Vulnerability Management tools, etc.
- Provide execution of policies and audit plans; help identify security risks and operational needs. Ensure compliance with all applicable configuration standards. Generate reports on assessment findings and summarize them to facilitate remediation tasks.
- Recommend improvements to the Information Security Program to the Information Security Manager.
- Support the management of information security, the establishment and implementation of the Information Security Framework and Program in compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across departments and branches to deliver optimal and efficient service to our members. Uphold a standard of professionalism actively fostering positive relationships internally and externally.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the credit union’s products and services, ensuring compliance with applicable Federal and State laws, Credit Union banking regulations, and OE Federal Credit Union’s policies and procedures and current promotions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
- Associate degree in an applicable field and minimum 1 year of work experience in a Lead-level role, or High School Diploma/GED and minimum 3 years of work experience in a similar role.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively with strong attention to detail.
- Experience in security device management and all related tools.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills required.
- Knowledge of security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors, risk management, incident management, etc.
- Knowledge of various operating systems including but not limited to Windows, Linux, and UNIX, Knowledge of various security methodologies and processes, and technical security solutions (firewall and intrusion detection systems).
- Strong IT Network background and knowledge of Information Security and Cyber Heist are highly desirable.
Salary Range: $82,267-$113,836
OE Federal Credit Union offers competitive compensation. The offered salary considers experience, education, training, internal peer equity, job location and other business considerations when extending an offer. The salary outlined is based on working in Livermore, California. The salary range will adjust to the applicant's work location. In addition to competitive salaries:
