Your Purpose
You will be responsible for process efficiency, procedure evaluation, system maintenance and performance monitoring, generating reports and providing training on lending products, programs and operational efficiencies are achieved while providing exceptional financial services for our union members.
What You'll Do
To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily under indirect supervision:
- Be able to interview applicants, collect financial information, evaluate credit worthiness and eligibility for obtaining financing, deliver disclosures, order services and consult applicants on programs and services. Prepare and submit accurate and complete applications, monitor and report on lending pipeline and activities, and exercise judgement and tact in communicating with applicants on loan decisions.
- Effectively leads and supervises specific lending platforms, regulations, including assisting with training, reviewing, scheduling and other administrative duties.
- Actively participates in the on-going research and development of products & services designed to meet Credit Union needs. Seeks to continually improve the member experience through use of technology and efficient process.
- Manage system reporting and monitoring for all lending platforms technology, and audits
- Responsible for adherence to policy, compliance with state and federal regulations, and assists with development of lending process, programs, and procedures.
- Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues across departments and branches to deliver optimal and efficient service to our members. Uphold a standard of professionalism actively fostering positive relationships internally and externally.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the credit union’s products and services, ensuring compliance with applicable Federal and State laws, Credit Union banking regulations, and OE Federal Credit Union’s policies and procedures and current promotions.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess
- Associates degree in an applicable field and minimum of 4 years of work experience in a similar role, or High School Diploma/GED and minimum 6 years of work experience in a similar role.
- Familiar with the NCUA Rules and Regulations specifically in the area of Lending.
- Strong communication skills (verbal/written), negotiation and presentation skills; ability to effectively interact with all levels of’ internal and external business partners.
- Excellent member service, relationship, organizational, analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge of Lending Systems and Loan Servicing functions.
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Embrace ongoing education and learn/apply new skills and software applications.
Salary Range: $68,640 - $85,387
