We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Staff Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and welding techniques. The Staff Welder will be responsible for welding and assembling metal components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and adhering to industry standards.
Responsibilities :
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding methods for the task at hand.
Perform MIG, TIG welding on various materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of welding equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and procedures.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specification.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification or vocational training preferred.
Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction environment.
Proficient in MIG, TIG welding techniques.
Strong understanding of welding safety practices and procedures.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and good manual dexterity.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot welding equipment.
Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and equipment.
