Pump Module and Body Rigging Supervisor
Summary of position: Supervises the activities of production personnel engaged in all facets of the manufacturing function. A Level 1 Supervisor is considered a working supervisor. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experiences and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
A Pump Module Supervisor should be proficient in the following categories:
1. Inventory control and and understanding of bill of material.
2. Electrical systems, lighting, and harnesses.
3. Rigging, swing, and rollup door installation.
4. Plumbing and valve arrangements.
5. Valve control systems (mechanical and electrical).
6. Foam system operations and controls.
7. Pump assembly and testing.
8. Self-motivated and great attention to detail.
9. Creating an atmosphere of success and teamwork within the work center.
10. Process and workflow within their work center.
11. On time completion of work within the work center.
12. Assigning jobs to the production personnel within the work center.
13. Enforcing productivity of personnel under their control.
14. Overall quality of their department.
15. Having a thorough working knowledge of all company policies and procedures.
16. Demonstrating good organizational skills.
17. Independently identifying and solving problems within the work center.
18. Working with and training others constructively.
19. Demonstrating good communication skills, both oral and written.
20. Enforcing equipment preventive maintenance program.
21. Responsible for tools in your department.
22. Organizing and enforcing a clean working area.
23. Working in a safe manner including wearing required PPE.
24. Reporting any safety issues.
25. Working in a positive manner and supporting production personnel.
26. Beginning work on time and keeping absences to a minimum.
27. Execution of work in their work center.
28. Assemble pumps and large mechanical parts with tight tolerances.
29. Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
30. Inspection of skid and all parts mounted on the skid before and after assembly.
31. Use of ID and OD Mics and measuring equipment, such as a tape measure and calipers.
32. Use of pneumatic and mechanical hand tools.
33. Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
34. Drive forklift and utilize overhead cranes.
35. Must be able to lift 50 pounds as needed.
36. Paint coordinator.
37. Pump module rigger/builder and test leader.
38. Be able to teach and train employees on all aspects of this position as stated above.
39. Responsible for the quality of product coming out of their department.
40. All other duties as required.
