Job Description
The Superintendent needs to be deadline-driven and oversee the construction project while acting as the liaison between various project parties. The Superintendent will lead and manage the on-site construction team and oversee all work on site. The Superintendent will be responsible for orderliness on-site and ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times. Ensuring quality standards are met, and all equipment and materials are available on-site at all times is a key task. Maintaining job profitability, completion before deadlines, never compromising quality, and consistently communicating with OFDC project teams is a requirement. The Superintendent must attend job reviews and weekly meetings with OFDC project teams to ensure projects are on track and maintain profitability.
Superintendent Responsibilities
- Managing the on-site construction team(s).
- Coordinating and overseeing all work on site.
- Moving material to proper locations on site.
- Physically attending weekly production meetings, job review, and other necessary project meetings.
- Reviewing and becoming familiar with the schedule and budget, and ensuring adherence.
- Ensuring quality standards are met and maintained.
- Placing orders for materials with the proper OFDC personnel.
- Responsible for equipment and materials being on site.
- Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliance, cleanliness, and orderliness.
- Maintaining records for site personnel including but not limited to daily field reports, field orders, site loans, and RFIs.
Superintendent Requirements
- Experience as a construction superintendent is preferred.
- Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel.
- Proficient with scheduling software, and CAE and CAD applications.
- Proficient with taking and uploading digital photographs.
- Proficient with Procore and other equivalent applications.
- Ability to read digital prints.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and to operate heavy equipment when necessary.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
