Job Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist works closely with the hiring managers of various departments to build, lead, and execute aggressive talent acquisition plans and sourcing/recruiting strategies for our company. In addition, this position utilizes various software and social platforms, including Excel, to develop reports and coordinate projects. A detailed approach to daily tasks and an ability to work well with people at all levels inside and outside the organization are necessary for success.
The right individual should have a strong desire to grow professionally in their position and responsibilities as ODM continues its rapid national expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Develops innovative, creative, and proactive recruitment/sourcing strategies to attract high quality candidates that have a passion for positively impacting the law enforcement community.
- Effectively identifying and engaging with talent utilizing a variety of channels including internal and external databases, social media, trade shows, association conferences and other sourcing tactics.
- Partners with departments to facilitate a smooth candidate transition into our organization.
- Promotes the ODM brand through innovatively attracting talent interested in supporting law enforcement.
- Collaborates within the HR department for other necessary communications-related tasks, including writing company e-newsletters, assisting with job descriptions, policy updates, etc.
- Conducts market research, identifying new prospective channels and partners, and executing strategies to meet talent plan, including candidate screenings: Interview/collaborate with potential candidates.
- Drives continuous improvement of recruiting processes.
- Creates and maintains statistical reporting for key metrics and objectives.
- Performs other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned by management to support organizational goals and objectives.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or one year of recruiting experience, including talent acquisition or sourcing
- Experience organizing, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines while working on numerous projects simultaneously
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite Software. Familiarity with ATS or CRM is a plus.
- Experience working independently and exercising confidentiality and sound judgment in making decisions.

Pay: $22.00 per hour
