Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Technical IT Project Manager to lead and oversee technology-driven projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role involves managing project timelines, scope, and resources while ensuring the successful delivery of IT solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and manage IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within specified timelines, resources, scope, and budget.
- Responsible for ensuring that Change and Release Management best practices are employed to maintain optimal delivery and quality of the company’s flagship product.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define or understand project requirements, objectives, and deliverables in an agile environment with business analysts, architects, developers, and testers.
- Develop or maintain project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and scheduling with RAID Logs using Smartsheet, which is used to provide reporting of Azure DevOps used to manage more at a more granular level.
- Ensure clear communication, task delegation, and monitoring of project or maintenance work across teams in close coordination and support of the Product Owner.
- Manage work risks, dependencies, and issue resolution to minimize disruptions and meet business objectives.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to align project goals and expectations.
- Prepare and present project status reports, metrics, and post-implementation reviews as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in technical project management within IT, specifically software engineering or system integration.
- Managing projects related to software products that support web applications and mobile apps is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or traditional project management methodologies.
- Proficient in using and maintaining SmartSheets, including reports and dashboards for management reporting.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), mobile applications with a web back-end, and familiarity with enterprise IT systems and integrations.
- Team player with excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
