FOODSERVICE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
- Local foodservice distributor with focus on high end products looking for strong seafood/poultry/beef Sales reps from industry. Strong food knowledge and experience with all levels of restaurants and/or hotels is a minimum requirement for this position. Sales experience is required-food sales best.
- The person filling this position will work with the top restaurants and chefs on a daily basis and must be familiar with chefs’ expectations and requirements. This position requires complete dedication and offers rewarding relationships. You must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic, creative, and tenacious with solid communication skills. The role includes a portfolio of existing accounts with main focus on opening new accounts.

Summary of essential job functions: Functions include, but not limited to the following:
- Efficient communication with current customers and new customers.
- Research customer business needs and developing a mix of products and services to meet these needs.
- Negotiate with significant customers establishing pricing and service guidelines in conjunction with sales and operations objectives.
- Strong commitment needed to become an expert in the company’s products and industry.
- Effectively and efficiently work with sales management and other sales personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be detailed oriented, self-motivated, and enthusiastic.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook), ERP systems.
- Must have great communication skills in order to develop working relationship with clients and upsell opportunities.
- Negotiate with significant customers establishing pricing and service guidelines in conjunction with sales manager and operations.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to enter orders quickly and with accuracy as well as presenting current online ordering app.
- Must understand basic inventory and able to multi-task and work under pressure.
We offer a competitive benefits package including health, 401k, and Paid Time Off (PTO). Starting Salary is base for 6 months then the transition to no cap commission, giving the right person the opportunity to make as much money as possible. Our top sales reps were all well above $150,000.00 last year.
Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, retail, and/or food service operations, distribution/wholesale management. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Great communication skills. Must be able to multi-task. The ability to work under pressure.
Job is located in Nashville, Tennessee. Relocation assistance will be provided for the right candidate.
