What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forward-Deployed AI Engineer position at OfferFit?
Position Overview:
As our customer base continues to grow with the excitement around our product, we're looking to expand! Come join our forward-deployed AI engineering team of creative technical experts who collaborate with customers to ensure their success with OfferFit!
In particular, you will:
- Collaborate with customer analytics/BI teams and OfferFit colleagues on use case setups (design, data integration, pipeline and ML model configuration, etc.) and ongoing value delivery and optimization
- Extend product capabilities by improving architecture and developing reusable data pipelines, APIs, and components
- Work closely with the Applied Science team to improve self-learning (reinforcement learning) algorithms
- Participate in determining OfferFit’s product strategy and roadmap
Technical Landscape:
- Data Science/Back End: Python (Pandas, TF, FastAPI, Great Expectations), SQL
- Web (not required for this role): JavaScript (Vue, Node.js), HTML, CSS
- Architecture/DevOps: Kubernetes, Airflow, Terraform, GCP
- Well-tested, type-hinted, documented, modular code and use pre-commit hooks, CI/CD, and issue tracking for development

Additional Requirements:
- Candidates must be able to fully overlap and support North America time zones
- Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Up to 10-15% travel for team offsite workshops, customer meetings, and industry-related events
The base salary range for this position in the United States is $112,000 - $129,000 per year plus eligibility for additional bonus ranging $13,000-$15,000; Eligibility for an end of year performance bonus, commissions (when applicable) and/or equity options may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
