We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments in the Sarasota/Venice area, ensuring that all spaces are well-kept and presentable. This position is essential for providing a safe and welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors alike.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to uphold standards.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning or post-event clean-up.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.
- Must possess a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
