What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Manager position at Office Enterprises Inc?
Summary: Employees in this job are responsible for managing the entire service operation including shop assignments, personnel and standards of performance and work output to satisfy customers’ service needs.
Essential Functions
- Supervise and control workload of service technicians.
- Triage incoming service calls.
- Field Service, with occasional overnight travel.
- Schedule service work according to priority and maintain an orderly flow of work.
- Advise customers of necessary repair service including estimates of cost; also makes recommendations to customers for preventative maintenance.
- Handles customer satisfaction pertaining to service and repair work.
- Utilize E-Automate to company standards.
- Supervises the training of service technicians with in-house training programs and manufacturer training.
- Oversee inventory and tool management.
- Managing equipment returns and warranty claims.
- Process management; Product receiving and equipment installation.
- Collaborate with the leadership team.
- Fleet Management.
- Commitment to continually remain current on product and industry knowledge.
- Other duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; 2-year college certificate or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3 years in similar position is preferred.
- A combination of education and experience will also be considered.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Teams, Excel
- Ability to deliver superior customer service
- Motivated self-starter; comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards
- Adequate knowledge of implementing work processes and process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to organize, train and supervise employees with tact
- Knowledge in assigning and instructing personnel in proper performance
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Forklift Certification.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises service team of Office Enterprises, Incorporated. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
