Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Commercial Office Workspace Designer to create renderings and overhead layouts for clients purchasing office furniture. This role requires an individual who is self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work both independently and collaboratively. You will interact directly with clients, assess their needs, and design functional office spaces that reflect their brand while maximizing functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Interaction: Meet with clients to discuss office design requirements and space planning needs. Interpret client vision and transform it into functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.
• Space Planning: Measure office spaces accurately, ensuring all layouts and designs adhere to the client’s specifications and office space requirements.
• Design Creation: Utilize 20/20, CAD, CET, or other industry-standard design software to create detailed floor plans, renderings, and 3D visualizations of office spaces.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales and project managers, to ensure designs meet client expectations and project timelines.
• Feedback and Progress Reporting: Regularly update clients and internal teams on project progress. Provide insightful feedback on design projects and suggest improvements proactively.
• Time Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining high design quality.

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience working with 20/20, CAD, CET, or other industry-specific design software.
• Client-Facing Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients professionally and ensure their needs are met.
• Attention to Detail: Strong ability to measure spaces accurately and translate those measurements into design layouts.
• Design Skills: Proficiency in creating detailed renderings and space plans using design software.
• Self-Motivated: Able to work independently, take ownership of projects, and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Collaborative: Capable of working in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing positively to team goals.
• Fast-Paced Environment: Comfortable working under tight deadlines and adapting to a dynamic work environment.
• Work Samples: Ability to provide a portfolio or work samples showcasing previous design projects.
• College Degree or Higher: A degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, but not required for candidates with relevant experience.
