We provide professional janitorial cleaning to Office buildings, medical clinics, Banks and other businesses throughout mid & southern Illinois. We are currently looking for “RELIABLE”, “DEPENDABLE”, “RESPONSIBLE” & Detail-Oriented individuals to join our janitorial team to staff one of our open janitorial positions for a local Office building setting in the: CARBONDALE, IL.

As a Janitorial/Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for both employees and visitors.

• We will be hiring "IMMEDIATELY" for *-*-PART-TIME-*-* position :

Monday, Wednesday, & Friday Starting at 4:30pm 9:30pm (till Completion)

Apx: 5 hours per cleaning

TOTALHOURS PER WEEK: 15 (paid weekly)

The ideal candidate will be experienced in a janitor/custodian role, focused on building upkeep, a keen eye for detail and diligence are imperative.

• Applicants ‘MUST’ be at least 21 year of age.
• Applicants ‘MUST’ have dependable/reliable transportation to work.
• Applicants ‘MUST’ maintain a working cell phone! (WE DO USE a Phone app w/GPS for clock in and out.)

.Janitorial/Custodian duties and responsibilities:

(This is basic custodian/ janitorial cleaning work for a commercial building including but not limited to)

• Clean the interior of the building to ensure that spaces are prepared for the next shift.
• Disinfect commonly used items like counters, railings, lobby chairs, door handles, desks, office tools and phones
• Empty all trash and replacing can liners
• Vacuum carpet, sweep and mop floors
• Clean and maintain workspaces, break rooms, offices and restocking paper products
• Clean and maintain restrooms and stock
• Wipe clean windows and mirrors
• Dust furniture and fixtures
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed

Janitorial/Custodian skills and qualifications:

• Good time-management skills
• Good communication skills
• Proven experience as custodian/janitor or in a similar role
• Some knowledge of using industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
• Ability to lift and move at least 10/15 pounds
• Ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces
• Good organization skills
• Some knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them
• Some knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners
