Position # 0512P00676We are seeking a dedicated Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our amazing team! This team member is responsible for overseeing/supervising the repair, upkeep, and management of the buildings and grounds of Lakin Hospital. The Building Maintenance Supervisor will provide management with an overview of buildings and grounds conditions, recommendations for improvement, as well as ensuring the facility is compliant with state building codes, OSHA, and fire and safety regulations. In this pivotal capacity, the supervisor will serve as a member of the Administrative team, Safety Committee, Quality Assurance Performance Improvement, and assist the Infection Control Committee in the development, implementation, and revision of maintenance services .The Building Maintenance Supervisor will coordinate and direct the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of buildings, machinery, equipment, and grounds. This position will be responsible for overseeing, directing, and evaluating all members of the maintenance department as well as all other related duties as required. Applicants selected for employment must successfully complete a criminal background check, chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug screening test and may be subject to drug testing for probable cause as set forth in agency/bureau policies. This 114-bed licensed, Medicaid-certified facility is committed to employing devoted personnel and nursing staff in an effort to deliver exceptional care to West Virginia’s geriatric population. Lakin Hospital offers a diverse range of activities and programs within the facility, such as picnics, fishing, bingo, crafting, and coffee carts, as well as taking off-campus adventures to engage residents. Additionally, therapeutic services are provided to maintain or enhance resident functioning abilities such as meal training, memory games, reality orientation, socialization, life skills, fine/gross motor skills, etc.
