Lakin Hospital is searching for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our amazing team! In this meaningful role, you will enhance the lives of our residents by providing a sanitary environment as well as a clean and safe place to call home. The housekeeper in this essential position will be tasked with cleaning resident bedrooms, bathrooms, dining halls, recreational areas, hallways, common areas and all other areas of the facility. Duties also include cleaning furniture, equipment, windows, mirrors, walls, handrails, etc. as well as gathering and disposing of refuse. This position will perform all other related duties as required. Mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position. Lakin Hospital is a tobacco-free facility. Applicant selected must successfully complete a criminal background check, chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug and alcohol screening. May be subject to drug and alcohol testing for probable cause as set forth in agency/bureau policies.Position # 0512P00650

This 114-bed licensed, Medicaid-certified facility is committed to employing devoted personnel and nursing staff in an effort to deliver exceptional care to West Virginia’s geriatric population. Lakin Hospital offers a diverse range of activities and programs within the facility, such as picnics, fishing, bingo, crafting, and coffee carts, as well as taking off-campus adventures to engage residents. Additionally, therapeutic services are provided to maintain or enhance resident functioning abilities such as meal training, memory games, reality orientation, socialization, life skills, fine/gross motor skills, etc.
