This position performs a variety of duties, including but not limited to: Conduct continuing education of nursing staff, including annual competenciesServe as the Training Center CoordinatorTeach ACLS, BLS, and PALSImplement a comprehensive education program for Acute Care and Rural Health ClinicsImplement educational programs for orientation and in-servicesProvide patient educationProcess performance and service delivery consultation and contributions to Welch Community Hospital through AD-HOC or permanent established councils, committed, and workgroupsAssist the Director of Nursing with Policy Review updating, as neededAssist RNs, as neededPerform related work as requiredThe successful applicant should be highly self-motivated and demonstrate strong leadership qualities to excel in this position. Mandatory overtime may be required of this position. Applicant selected for employment must successfully complete a criminal background check and a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug testing for probable cause as set forth in agency and bureau policies. Welch Community Hospital is a tobacco free facility.
