Under the direction of the Commissioner of the Bureau for Social Services and the Deputy Commissioner of Policy and Programs, incumbent will be responsible for statewide implementation of social service programs in 31 judicial districts in the state. This includes oversight of adult and child protective services, adult and youth services, and family preservation. Responsible for mandated federal and state requirements, as well as application and monitoring of initiatives, services delivery, program policies, and supervision of field workers and supervisors.Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. Applicants also must have strong communication skills, both oral and written, and maintain detailed records and extensive documentation. Frequent travel may be required. Successful completion of a background check is required for employment.
