What are the responsibilities and job description for the Federal Work Study Student, Office Assistant - Office of Student Life position at Office of Student Life - UTMB Health Careers?
Minimum Qualifications:
This position will be an on-campus position or via UTMB satellite clinics.
Job Duties:
- Help with basic office tasks such as filling, scanning, printing of documents, etc.
- Help publicize upcoming events by putting fliers around campus and digitally on the TV monitors
- Help the Office of Student Life with planning and execution of events
- Do rounds on the study rooms in Old Red to make sure signs are current, chairs are in the right rooms, dry erase markers are working, etc.
- Check with Old Red Game Room to ensure it is straightened up and game supplies are available. Make sure the microwave stays clean (wipe it down once a day so it doesn't build up)
- Check The Picnic Basket Student Food Pantry collection boxes around campus to pick up any donations
- Other general office tasks as assigned
Salary Range:
Commensurate with experience.
