Duties
As an HR Specialist (HR Development) you will:
- Perform market research to identify and select commercial solutions to satisfy organizational learning needs. Identify information, negotiate, and procure training services from government and commercial sources.
- Collaborate with customer business units to plan and deliver training events. Review participant feedback and prepare after action reports to identify best practices or areas for improvement.
- Analyze external training activities and trends to identify opportunities for acquiring training.
- Conduct organization-wide outreach to acquire, exchange and provide information on training needs, policies, products, processes and services.
- Respond to customer inquiries on training topics. Analyze trends to identify frequent inquires and recommend guidance, outreach activities or communications to address them.
- Lead or serve on special assignment teams collaborating on the development of project plans and deliverables, collection and analysis of data.
- Counsel and advise on educational needs, educational sources, career development, employee development, and management improvement techniques and practices.
- Review and provide input on training policy changes.
- Identify, develop and implement new, innovative approaches to streamline, refine and improve training delivery operations.
