We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Floor Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of floors in our facility. Your duties will include cleaning, buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors to ensure they are well-maintained and meet high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine floor maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
Strip, wax, buff, and polish hard surface floors.
Clean and maintain carpets, including spot cleaning and deep cleaning.
Operate and maintain floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and extractors.
Ensure all floor care procedures are performed in compliance with safety guidelines.
Identify and report any damage, repairs, or hazards on floors.
Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a floor technician or in a similar cleaning/maintenance role is preferred.
Knowledge of floor care procedures, equipment, and cleaning agents.
Ability to operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
