- Provide Tier 1 support to end users, effectively addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to the EMR application.
- Take ownership of EMR tickets, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of user concerns to maintain high levels of user satisfaction.
- Independently diagnose and attempt to resolve issues, utilizing technical expertise. Escalate complex or high-priority problems to the manager for further attention and resolution.
- Prioritize and manage urgent or critical issues, minimizing disruption to user workflows and optimizing system performance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to compile, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation of common troubleshooting procedures and best practices.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours support, guaranteeing continuous availability of EMR services and a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate in the implementation and testing of new processes and functionalities within the EMR system before their rollout to end users.
- Assist in testing all upgrades and hot fixes for the EMR application, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
- Support participating departments and new employees in adopting and effectively utilizing EMR workflows to streamline operations
- Previous work experience in a medical environment highly desirable.
- Previous Electronic Medical Records Application experienced is preferred.
- Prior experience with NextGen is preferred.
- Prior help desk and help desk ticket system experience is preferred.
- Strong Customer Service skills.
- Strong analytical and documentation ability.
- Ability to approach process improvement positively.
- Ability to multi-task effectively.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required
