The MRI Assistant supports the MRI technologists by assisting with patient preparation, positioning, and ensuring a smooth workflow, while also maintaining equipment and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The Responsibilities include:
- Patient Care:
- Assisting with transferring patients to and from the MRI table and other areas.
- Preparing patients for MRI scans, including explaining procedures and answering questions.
- Ensuring patient comfort and safety during the procedure.
- Monitoring patients during the scan.
- Assisting with patient safety interviews and MRI safety questionnaires.
- Equipment and Environment:
- Setting up and cleaning the MRI room and equipment.
- Maintaining and organizing exam room supplies.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the imaging environment.
- Assisting with equipment maintenance.
- Workflow and Communication:
- Assisting with patient scheduling and flow.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintaining patient records.
- Assisting with image processing and archiving.

- Experience: Previous successful experience in a healthcare clinic/office environment or customer service role preferred, but not required
- Education: High School Diploma required
