Position Summary
ofi’s internship program is a great way to gain relevant experience and jump-start your career. You will work closely with exceptional talent, building on ofi’s purpose to “Be the Change for Good Food and a Healthy Future” and contributing to critical work for the business. As a Summer 2025 Intern, you will learn and contribute to a global organization, build a robust network, demonstrate leadership skills, and have some fun along the way.
The internship will provide an opportunity to work for a global food company, collaborate closely with various business teams, and gain exposure to business operations as well as project work to optimize and bring cost savings to the business through optimization of distribution & warehousing space.
The ideal candidate should be in good standing with an accredited university and have a desire to pursue a career within the food industry. Desire to learn in a fast-paced environment while working with teams on the shop floor across various locations and effective communication will be required for success in this internship.
Position Responsibilities
- Understand the current inventory receipt, movement & dispatch process
- Identify the key metrics that measure the process effectively
- Recommend process improvements which can result in work being done faster or with lesser resources
- Explain the recommendations in a simple to execute manner to the shop floor teams
- Take feedback to refine the process and capture improvements
- Deliver a SOP for any future warehousing set up for the organization
Position Requirements
The pay for this role is $22- $55 / hour and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location. Interns with permanent addresses more than 35 miles from the work location are eligible for a stipend to offset relocation and housing costs.
