Position Summary
Reporting to the Sanitation Supervisor.
The ideal candidate will have the skills or experience in cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, breakrooms, tables, floors, and offices.
Must have good communication skills and willing to work with others. Must have a working knowledge of chemicals and how to safely use them.
Position Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Dispose of trash from bins and containers
- Scrub sinks and toilets
- Dust and polish furniture and room accessories as needed
- Vacuum rugs and carpets
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors, and counters as needed
- Maintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products; ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of products.
- Report repairs and replacements needed when encountered
- Fill out and turn in housekeeping logs.
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- Minimum education required
- Good communication skills
- Good physical health to perform job duties.
- Must be able to lift 30lbs.
