Job Summary:
A Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing projects from start to finish. They work with Product Line Mangement and stakeholders to define project goals, create a plan, and ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the desired standard. This role is internally facing working with all teams associated with new product and process development. The job function is designed to support R&D and PLM organizations in the implementation of new designs.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Defining project goals: Develop and define project goals based on PLM and R&D direction, scope, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with PLM and stakeholders.
- Planning and executing: Creating a plan for the project, including tasks, schedules, and resource allocation. Plan new projects and programs, including product development, process development or cost reduction, capital implementation, etc. Prepare gate reviews in collaboration with marketing or business development.
- Leading teams: Lead and coordinate project staff and resources to ensure project milestones are met and quality standards are upheld.
- Communicating: Keeping stakeholders informed and communicating with management Communicate proactively the status, issues, and risks involved in the project to all stakeholders.
- Managing resources: Ensuring all resources are used effectively. Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
- Evaluating performance: Tracking progress and summarizing results Identify and minimize project risks throughout its life cycle. Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Documenting: Documenting projects process using various project management tools
Key Qualifications:
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering or Technical Field
- A Master's degree or an advanced certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a project lifecycle.
- Experience in strategic planning, risk management, or change management.
Required Skills:
- Exceptional leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of Product Development Gate methodology
- Working knowledge of change management and performance evaluation processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and deadlines.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office and project management tools.
- Ability to understand Financials, and Operational metrics to perform analysis work and help generate impactful plans.
