What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Installer position at OFS WORKS LLC?
The Lead Installation Tech will serve as a member of a team assigned to installation projects. Responsible for all the processes and activities involved with quality installations and or reconfigurations as directed by the lead installer or project manager. Primary responsibilities include understanding floor plans, layouts and accurate installation of various makes and models of systems furniture. Ability to become driver qualified a plus (clean MVR, clean background, pass drug screen.
Essential Functions
- Review all work orders and understand scope of work and expectations of each job prior to leaving for job discussing any questions or concerns with Project Manager
- Review routes and directions prior to leaving office and communicate with Internal Staff.
- Perform navigational assistance for driver and get out of truck and serve as spotter for driver when backing up a service vehicle.
- Assist driver maintaining a clean truck including the cab and box keeping truck clean, organized, and free of debris. Remove all trash, new and used material and equipment returning to proper areas at the end of each shift/use.
- Properly pad-wrap and secure all cargo during moving items and after completing each stop.
- Assist driver/service crew leader/lead installer performing facility clean-up, equipment inventory control and job completion on a regular basis. (Providing own tools, a plus.)
- Report any and all accidents, injuries, criminal activity and or unsafe acts to your immediate supervisor
- Report any cargo damage to the service crew leader and your immediate supervisor.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the basic steps and principles of systems furniture installation.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Accept and perform additional job duties, assignments, or projects as directed by your immediate Supervisor or management.
- Maintains regular punctual attendance, providing adequate prior notice to time off requests.
Experience
- Divers License Required
- Bilingual (Not Required but Preferred)
- Forklift / Pallet Jack (Not Required but preferred)

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to handle a demanding, fast-paced work environment.
- The ability to lift to 100 pounds unassisted
- Bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time.
- Varying inside and outside weather and temperature conditions.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
