- Operates production machinery in accordance with engineering specifications and safety requirements per setup sheets. Assigned machines may include extrusion tools and a list of raw materials designated by design.
- Produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
- Follow the production schedule precisely.
- Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
- Maintains logs and records of daily production actual versus goal.
- Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance. (TPM)
- Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
- Performs checklist before starting.
- Keepworking environment clean and organized (5S).
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must read, write, and speak English.
- Operator must be able to follow instructions.
- Operators must be able to interpret production orders.
- Any other job duties as assigned.
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
- Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation.
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
