What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Programmer position at OFS?
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying CNC programs, designing setups, and maintaining a high level of quality control throughout all phases of the manufacturing process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop and write programs for precision CNC machinery
· Collaboration with machinists and engineers
· Program multiple CNC machines at multiple facilities
· Ability to follow drawings, work instructions, and bill of materials
· Ability to direct projects as needed
· Troubleshoot and revise existing programs as needed
· Maintain detailed documentation of programming and setup procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience in Solid Works, AutoCad and WoodWop preferred but will train
· Must have a basic knowledge of machining processes
· Possess good communication and creative thinking skills
· Excellent attention to detail and dedication to accuracy
· Must have a strong work ethic and be very dependable
· Ability to work both independently and in a team atmosphere
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
