Job Purpose
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our company’s facilities. Duties include maintaining machinery, assigning repair activities due to the company’s needs. Assisting in locating or finding parts to be ordered. To be able to oversee maintenance of all machines throughout their shift.
Minimum Education Required
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our company’s facilities. To be able to oversee maintenance of all machines throughout their shift.
Minimum Education Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years of maintenance leadership roles
- 3 years of maintenance background
- Six-sigma Green/Black Belt Certification and Lean Certification a plus
- Knowledge of Fiber Optic Industry desirable
- SAP Experience preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office Excel, Word and Power Point; Acute ability to understand and use data for continuous improvement.
- Maintenance related background
- Oversee the daily tasks of a maintenance team.
- Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
- Ensure that the team you are leading has adequate resources to do their job.
- Ensure health and safety and all other policies are in compliance.
- Allocate workload and supervise workload as necessary.
- Must be a safety conscious individual.
- Must have exceptional time management skills.
- Experience in planning maintenance operations.
- Be able to work in dynamically changing environment with competing resource demands.
- Must be organized.
