Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our oral and maxillofacial surgery team . This is a seasonal 6 month position with the possibility of becoming permanent. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in presurgical consultations, anesthesia, perioperative management and postoperative care. There are additional opportunities within our practice for facial esthetics including Botox and injectable fillers, facial laser treatment, chemical peels etc.
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Perform advanced medical procedures such as venipuncture, IV infusions, surgical first assisting, debridement/washout, and suturing
- Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
- Utilize electronic health records for accurate documentation and coding
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the respective specialty area
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a clinical setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

The Oral and Facial Surgery Center of Tallahassee is a well established practice specializing in delivering broad scope maxillofacial procedures to the population of Tallahassee and the surrounding areas. Areas of practice include head and neck pathology, maxillofacial trauma, head and neck infections, TMJ disorders, corrective jaw surgery, dentoalveolar surgery and dental implants.
Our founding surgeon is a Diplomate of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Pay: $97,445.57 - $117,353.80 per year
