The Production Worker is responsible for performing various tasks on the production line to assist in the manufacturing of food products. This role involves operating machinery, assembling products, monitoring quality, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production machinery in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Assemble raw materials into finished products according to specifications.
- Inspect products for defects and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient production process.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Working knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is a plus
- Record production data and report any deviations or issues.
- Assist in the packaging and labeling of products.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Nevada State Food Handlers Card (Health Card).
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate machinery and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including evenings.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
