Purpose:
OGA is seeking a full-time Patient Access Specialist Float (PAS), 32-40 hours per week (4-5 days per week), during regular business hours Monday through Friday. This position is set to take place between all three of our clinic locations as a "float".
Positions Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides excellent customer service and communicate skills, over the phone and other communication methods to all patients
- Schedule’s patient appointments and coordinates other needed services for patients.
- General office administration tasks such as scanning, filing, documenting, etc.
- Performs the following workflows: patient registration, complex scheduling, and benefit verification with attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Supports a perspective payment program by communicating organization policies, financial options, explaining insurance coverage/non-coverage.
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Minimum one year of experience in a medical office/clinic setting is preferred
- General phone and computer skills, as well as effective customer service skills and communication
- Ability to adapt to change and be flexible to change in-the-moment
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour depending on experience, education, etc.
