Job Summary :
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. The SLP will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and strategies to support students' communication needs, ensuring they have equitable access to education.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assessment and Diagnosis :
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language abilities using standardized tests and observational techniques.
Develop and implement individualized treatment programs for students with speech and language disorders.
Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and other school personnel to support students' communication needs within the classroom environment.
Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and communications with parents and staff.
Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain licensure and stay informed of advancements in speech-language pathology.
