HEAD SWIM COACH
The Head Swim Coach is responsible for recruiting athletes, teaching proper technique, the safety of the athletes, as well as character development of the student-athletes. Oversee meet planning and preparation. Development of a winning attitude on and out of the pool for both swimmers and coaches. Responsible for all necessary paperwork, meetings, adherence to district and state policies/procedures, and attending all practices and meets. Responsible for coordinating swim program philosophies with any feeder programs. All other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred high school, collegiate, or professional swimming experience
- Preferred previous coaching experience at the high school, collegiate, or professional level
