About the Requirements
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers nursing care to patients who are consistent with the RN's knowledge and skills that are in accordance with hospital policy and procedures. The RN promotes a positive teamwork environment, which emphasizes respect to all including, patients, families, physicians, staff and other departments. Works in the critical care areas (ICU, PCU and ED) 75% of the time. Exemplifies professional nursing practice through expert clinical practice, strong leadership skills, and management activities.
Under the general direction of the Director, the RN independently provides holistic, individualized care using the nursing process for patients routinely seen on the unit. Associate Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred. At least one-year acute care hospital experience required.
