Job Summary
The Youth Tackle Football Assistant Coach supports the Head Coach in executing a structured, safe, and engaging football program. This role involves helping players build fundamental football skills, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship, and ensuring a positive learning environment for all athletes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Coach in organizing and conducting practices.
- Teach and reinforce basic football techniques, rules, and position-specific skills.
- Promote a positive and respectful team environment.
- Help monitor player safety during practices and games, including proper tackling form and hydration.
- Support game-day duties such as sideline management, substitutions, and positional coaching.
- Maintain active communication with the Head Coach and follow established team strategies.
- Serve as a positive role model for players in attitude, effort, and behavior.
- Attend all practices, games, and team meetings as scheduled.
- Assist with equipment setup and take-down, as needed.

Education and Experience
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required

- Completion of required league or school safety training (e.g., concussion protocols).
- Must pass a background check.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
