Job Description:
Oghosa Home Care and Transportation Services, LLC is seeking reliable, compassionate, and flexible PRN Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide care on short notice for individuals with developmental disabilities and other needs in Cuyahoga and Lake Counties. These positions are perfect for candidates who are looking for flexible hours and are available to take on last-minute shifts as needed.
As a PRN DSP, you will provide direct support to individuals, assisting with daily living activities, fostering independence, and ensuring a positive and supportive environment. The role may require flexibility to work on short notice, and candidates should be comfortable with the unpredictability of last-minute shift requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance, including helping with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support individuals with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders
- Assist with activities of daily living to promote independence and quality of life
- Provide transportation to appointments and recreational activities as needed
- Maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for individuals
- Document care activities and progress, as required
- Be available for last-minute shift requests with minimal notice
Requirements:
- Experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) or caregiver is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including last-minute shifts
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and assist individuals with mobility, if necessary
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with excellent communication skills
- Must be comfortable working with individuals with varying needs and behaviors
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training can be provided)
- Must be able to pass a background check

Position: Direct Support Professional (Part-Time)
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professionals to provide exceptional care and support to an individual with intellectual and physical disabilities. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring the overall well-being of the individual.
The individual has four dogs and one cat; while pet care is not required, candidates must be comfortable around animals.
Part-time hours are available, with the option to combine shifts for a full schedule. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, patience, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care and daily activities
- Promote independence and community involvement
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for the individual
- Be comfortable around pets in the home (no pet care required)
