Ogle County is seeking applicants for the position of Deputy County Clerk. Duties are, but not limited to, supporting the office of the Ogle County Clerk and Recorder. The Deputy Clerk is responsible for routine administrative office and accounting duties, in addition to issuing Marriage and Civil Union Licenses, filing, indexing, and working with the public. Work requires a high level of discretion and often requires the use and handling of confidential information.
The Deputy County Clerk is under the direct supervision of the Ogle County Clerk and Recorder. The position is a permanent position that requires the Deputy Clerk to work a thirty-five-hour week. The position requires a great deal of multi-tasking. The minimum pay rate is $30,000 depending on the applicant's qualifications.
