Position Summary:
Our Atlanta, GA office has the opportunity for a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Coordinator to join the firm’s Client Services department. This position will assist our CLE team with all aspects of continuing legal education (CLE) credits for clients and Ogletree Deakins attorneys for national events/webinars. Job duties include vetting Ogletree’s national client-facing programs (national webinars and in-person/virtual seminars) for CLE eligibility, taking steps to obtain CLE approval/accreditation from all states where available, issuing certificates of attendance, and tracking credit to assist in any audits or client requests. The CLE Coordinator will utilize software and tracking tools related to CLE and will serve as a resource and point of contact for issues relating to state-by-state CLE requirements and accreditation for our national programs. This position may work on a hybrid schedule out of our Atlanta office.
Essential Functions:
- Complete necessary steps to apply for and obtain CLE approval and accreditation of client-facing national events, including national webinars and in-person/virtual seminars
- Timely issue certificates of attendance to clients, attendees, and Ogletree attorneys
- To facilitate obtaining CLE approval, work with CLE and Events Manager to develop timelines with deadlines for program materials and communicate them as needed
- Track firm’s CLE offerings and certificates for national events and webinars using CLE software
- Learn, maintain, and update information on CLE accreditation requirements nationwide
- Answer questions from clients and Ogletree attorneys regarding the availability of CLE for various national programs
- Communicate effectively with Client Services Department leaders and members, firm attorneys, and others within and outside the firm as necessary to ensure a top-notch CLE program
- As needed, assist with other administrative tasks related to CLE, webinars, bios, events, promotional items, and other Client Services functions
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a communications-related field
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of state CLE requirements preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to comprehend and distill differing state-by-state CLE rules and procedures
- Strong writing skills, customer service-oriented approach, and ability to communicate professionally and clearly with clients, attorneys, staff, and other members of Client Services
- Ability to travel to Client Services national seminars and be an in-person resource when needed
- Proficiency in all Microsoft applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Proficiency in viCLE (an Aderant product) or other tracking software a plus
