Position Summary
Our Greenville, SC Administrative office has an opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join the Firm's expanding Technology department. The IT Business Analyst's primary objective is helping businesses determining and / or gathering the requirements of an IT project, program or technology solution in a cost-effective way, following best practice and by effectively communicating scope and progress to stakeholders, facilitators and partners. The IT BA works with the business for requirement documents, time list and best practices. The Business Analyst will periodically prepare status reports for management / clients / attorneys. The Business Analyst will be part of the Development and Automation team. Additionally, will train staff on programs applications and track compliance. The successful candidate must reside proximate to Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, or Greenville, SC and this position may be remote or hybrid.
Essential Functions
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, developing and implementing business solutions.
- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
- Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Performing requirements analysis.
- Documenting and communicating the effort results with Level Of Effort and savings calculations.
- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
- Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.
- Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
- Allocating resources and maintaining cost efficiency.
- Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Performing user acceptance testing.
- Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
- Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures.
- Maintaining SOM library (Standard Operating Manuals)
- Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
- Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
- Managing competing resources and priorities.
- Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
