We have the opportunity for an experienced IT Solutions Architect to join the firm’s expanding Technology department. This position is responsible to analyze the impact of new technologies/systems on the overall infrastructure and business processes. The analysis task continues with the enterprise environment, including internal auditing, development platforms, and hands-on development activities. The IT Solutions Architect is also involved in helping with the group development standards. The successful candidate must reside proximate to Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, or Greenville, SC and this position may be remote or hybrid.

Essential Functions
- Review, interpret, and respond to detailed business requirements specifications to ensure alignment between customer expectations and current or future IT department capability
- Provide input to the strategic direction of technology solutions to assist in the development of the enterprise architecture and maximize the return on technology investment
- Within the agreed enterprise architecture, define and design technology solutions to assist the business in meeting their business objectives
- Develop, test, and implement technology solutions and report on delivery commitments to ensure solutions are implemented as expected and to agreed timeframes
- Identify technology process optimization opportunities
- The IT Solutions Architect is also responsible to find and suggest the best tech solution among all possible to solve existing business problems.
- Describing the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of the software to project stakeholders.
- Defining features, phases, and solution requirements.
- Providing specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered.
- Testing frameworks, and automating test processes.
- This position will accomplish these tasks through direct execution and involvement and coordination with the Technology department resources and external vendors, service providers, contractors, and consultants.
- Additional duties include working with related process stakeholders to identify and resolve related problems and issues and realize efficiencies as a result of process and system improvements.
- This position will also serve the role of project manager for some if not all related activities.
- 5 years of progressive experience working with software, systems and services. Experience with Aderant, Intapp, iManage, and other specific legal systems is a plus.
- 2 years as an enterprise technical lead/architect
- Understanding of frameworks: Architecture frameworks (such as ToGAG, DoDAF, FEAF, Zachman, etc.)
- Proficient with Office 365, SharePoint and Microsoft technologies
- Experience with cloud specifically Azure
- Ability to use a variety of design tools
- Ability to visualize complex issues
