Position Summary
We have the opportunity for an experienced Senior Innovation and Automation Analyst to join the firm’s expanding Technology department. As part of the Information Technology (IT) department, the Senior Innovation and Automation Analyst’s (Senior Analyst) primary objective is to work closely with the firm’s other departments to understand business needs, analyze and develop business requirements that align with their goals, and provide activities support to help with project deliverables. The Senior Analyst will work collaboratively with department representatives to understand business needs, translating those into deliverables. The Senior Analyst will then work within the IT organization to collaborate with management in order to engage sufficient resources to meet those deliverables. This Senior Analyst will regularly communicate progress, resolve impediments, and escalate issues as needed, ensuring that involved teams work in concert to achieve shared goals.
The Senior Analyst’s primary department assigned will be the firm’s Knowledge and Innovation Department (K&I) and, as such, will coordinate between K&I and IT to provide regular updates to both K&I and IT to ensure that projects are completed on-time and within scope -- alerting of any changes in agreed project plans. In addition to serving as the liaison between K&I and IT, this role requires a strong understanding of both business processes and technology. The Senior Analyst will ensure that created solutions align with K&I’s vision and are supportable by IT over the long term.

The Senior Analyst Is a Strategic Leadership Position For Our Firm, Reporting To Our Director Of Development And Automation. The Senior Analyst Will
- Serve as the primary point of contact between primarily K&I as well as other departments and IT, facilitating communication, collaboration, and alignment on priorities.
- Ensure that projects and deadlines are met.
- Escalate resource constraints or project delays to leadership.
- Gather, document, and review business requirements with team members, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Liaise between IT, K&I and other departments to ensure requirements are understood, prioritized, and executed within established timelines.
- Regularly communicate on project status, blockers, and resource needs.
- Collaborate with IT and the firm departments to create detailed business requirements document
- Ensure timely delivery of solutions that meet both business needs and technical requirements.
- Conduct regular project review meetings with stakeholders in both K&I and IT.
- Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Work closely with clients, developers, and managerial staff.
- Help with technical documentation.
- Manage requirements, coordinate initiatives and projects.
- Work with leadership to prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
- Help coordinate competing resources and priorities.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred.
- 3 years of experience as Business Analyst, preferably working in IT and/or legal fields.
- Strong understanding of technology and its application in business processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
- SCRUM master preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
