Ohio Gasket and Shim is a Stamping and Fabrication shop that is seeking a Maintenance Technician.
The hours for a 1st Shift Position - M-TH 10 hrs 6am - 4:30pm
Job Summary:
Responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facilities.
Essential Duties:
- Troubleshoot and repair a broad range of production equipment. This includes stamping presses, mills, lathes, and robotic welders.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance tasks.
- Oil and grease presses and supporting equipment.
- Lift truck maintenance
- Perform basic electrical troubleshooting
- Supports the Facilities Function as required
Skill Requirement
- Knowledge of industrial electronic controls, electromechanical and mechanical system.
- Basic knowledge of electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience with welding, fabrication, and HVAC a plus
- Ability to read / interpret schematics, and blueprints
- Basic computer skills
Additional
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
- Experienced maintenance person in manufacturing facility is preferable
- Ability to present a positive attitude is essential
- Job could consist of lifting up to 75 pounds, bending, standing, sitting, twisting, kneeling, squatting, pushing and pulling
