Title : Clinical Lead (RN)
Reports To : Clinic Administrator
Hours : First Shift, 7 : 30am-5 : 00pm Monday-Friday. Hours may vary depending on the needs of the practice.
Job Summary
Looking for an Outpatient experienced Registered Nurse Clinical Lead. Provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the ambulatory, outpatient and Medical Group practice settings in accordance with policies and procedure under the supervision of the supervisor or manager. Performs all duties of a Clinical Nurse Ambulatory when providing direct patient care. Supports the manager by serving in the capacity of a clinical lead for licensed and unlicensed clinical teammates.
Essential Functions
- Outpatient experience is highly preferred as this position is working in an Outpatient setting.
- Makes daily clinical assignments based on number of staff available and needs of the practice.
- Assess the clinical competence of teammates and provide information to the manager regarding clinical issues.
- Monitor inventory and ensure appropriate storage of clinical supplies, equipment and medications.
- Analyzes the assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses or issues.
- Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or the situation.
- Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
- Implements the identified plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
Education, Experience and Certifications
Physical Requirements Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Must speak and understand English in good understandable terms. Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, touch. Finger dexterity. Critical thinking and ability to concentrate. Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and / or unit / department conditions. Physical Abilities testing required. Additional department specific physical requirements may be identified for unique responsibilities within the department by the department manager.
