Charge Auditor - Clinical

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Revenue Integrity Charge Auditor Position Purpose: The Auditor - Charge Capture audits billed charges for accuracy and assists with resolving billing disputes. Minimum Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Specialized training in medical terminology and coding Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a hospital environment in revenue cycle, billing, coding and/or patient financial services Effective Communication Skills Ability to perform basic charge capture processes and investigates errors accordingly. Basic understanding of general Revenue Cycle principles. Ability to understand billing & regulatory guidelines as related to charging and other revenue cycle processes. Ability to adjust regulatory changes in a cooperative and efficient manner.
