- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and baking area.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients; assist with ordering as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet customer demands during peak times.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and taking special orders when necessary.
- Experiment with new recipes and techniques to enhance the menu offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation.
- Proficiency in using kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and various baking tools (knife skills are essential).
