Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the food truck, including staff supervision and scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, sanitized kitchen environment.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency.
- Utilize Square POS system for order management and payment processing.
- Train staff on food handling procedures, customer service standards, and equipment operation.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain time management to ensure timely service during busy hours.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menu items and special promotions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required; food truck experience is a plus.
- Proficient in using Square POS or similar point-of-sale systems.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Experience in food preparation and cooking techniques is preferred.
